Since its original mission of establishing a sheltered home for the wandering poor, Hooverwood has developed into a state-of-the-art comprehensive nursing and rehabilitation center that specializes in the care of Alzheimer's Residents.

Hooverwood, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, governed by a dedicated Board of Directors, is a constituent agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis.

With the values and traditions of Judaism as our foundation, Hooverwood's philosophy of care is based upon the belief that the dignity of the individual identity of each Resident is of prime importance.
